PARTNERSHIP WITH RUMFORD HOSPITAL:

The Rumford Community Home is a continuing care facility and part of the Rumford Hospital Family. Its 85 beds include Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care, Residential Care, Long Term Care, and a specialized section for Alzheimer's Care.

At the Rumford Community Home, residents enjoy a wide variety of activities, including outdoor activities and outings to local parks, restaurants and shops. Well-balanced home-cooked meals are served and individualized to each resident's diet and taste. Therapeutic diets are prepared under the direction of a licensed dietitian.

Many volunteers help residents and staff with activities and every day living. Some of residents' favorite volunteers are of the four-legged variety, as several therapy dogs visit on a regular basis. Local churches are actively involved in residents' spiritual well-being. 

The staff of Rumford Community Home makes an unconditional commitment to its residents and their families that they may rest assured they have chosen a skilled rehabilitation or long-term care facility that is not just a building - It's a home.

Rumford Community Home is located in a serene setting just off Sunnyside Terrace in the Virginia section of Rumford.
